Broadcasting
Broadcasting video from a webcam or camcorder
To broadcast video from a webcam or camcorder, first connect the webcam or camcorder device to your computer. Then, simply select the Video button from the Broadcaster window. You will see a VLC player window and a Quicktime Broadcaster window appear. Note: No interaction is required from the VLC player; simply minimize VLC Player.
From the Quicktime Broadcaster window, simply select the broadcast button to stream your camcorder or webcam. That’s it! You will be streaming audio and video from the connected video device.

Note 2: The Quicktime Broadcaster settings are important, and it is recommended not to change these, since this sends the optimum video stream to the Dyyno Broadcaster. To modify the resolution, bitrate or framerate, please use the Video settings located in the Dyyno Mac Broadcaster’ Preferences (Preferences can be found as an option when you select Dyyno Broadcaster from the menu bar. See Video Settings on Page 8 for more information). The Dyyno Mac Broadcaster settings will override any settings in the Quicktime Broadcaster window.
Note 3: Please make sure not to close the VLC player or Quicktime Broadcaster applications. This will stop the stream.
Dyyno lets you broadcast the following media file types: AVI, WMV, MP4, MOV, 3GP, OGG, MKV, Raw DV, and FLV. To broadcast a media file, select the Media file button from the Broadcaster window, find the media file from the Finder window, and click Open.
A VLC player window will open that starts to play your media file. You are now streaming audio and video from your media file.

To broadcast your desktop, simply select the Desktop option from the Dyyno Broadcaster window. You will see a VLC player window appear displaying your desktop content. You are now streaming your desktop.

If you're desktop is only showing in the lower left corner of the picture or appears cut off, this can happen when your display resolution changes during a broadcast, especially if you switch to a full-screen application. Please verify that the display resolution in your application's preferences matches those under Display in System Preferences.
Note 1: Audio will not be streamed when you are in Desktop mode.
Note 2: Please make sure to not close the VLC player window. It will stop the stream.
