Please try the following if you have problems watching a live broadcast:
The first time you view a live broadcast with Dyyno, you will be asked to install a browser plug-in. No other software is required. Note: If you are using Windows Vista, you will need to run the browser as Administrator to install and to use the Dyyno plug-in. Right-click on the Internet Explorer icon and select "Run as administrator" from the pop-up menu.
For Internet Explorer users:
1. Read and accept the Dyyno Terms of Service.
2. Internet Explorer will show a yellow bar at the top of the page. Click on it to start the install and select "Install ActiveX Control".

4. Enjoy the broadcast!

6. Enjoy the broadcast!
Back to topDyyno runs best on Windows XP under Internet Explorer. Under Vista, Dyyno is also supported, but we have not tested as extensively with this operating system. Dyyno broadcasts may also be viewed in Firefox on either XP or Vista. In the future, Dyyno will support other platforms and browsers.
Back to topTo view in full-screen mode, just click on the video itself or on the full-screen icon in the lower left hand corner of the player.
Back to topThere is 3-5 second delay between the broadcaster and the receivers.
Back to topFor privacy, Dyyno allows broadcasters to hide all applications other than the one they are broadcasting. When a broadcaster is broadcasting in this mode, viewers see other application windows as gray rectangles. If you are watching a broadcast and see one of these gray rectangles covering the action, it is because the broadcaster is running in this mode and has switched applications, bringing an application that is not broadcast to the top.
Back to topThe first time you try to view a live broadcast with Dyyno, a Windows Security Alert may pop up, asking whether you wish to keep blocking Dyyno. The Dyyno plug-in must be unblocked to connect to a live broadcast. Click "Unblock".
Back to topIf you are running personal firewall software, such as Norton 360, a message may appear asking you to allow the Dyyno to run. Click "Allow". Some personal firewall software silently blocks unknown applications. You may need to disable or reconfigure this software and reboot before viewing a live broadcast with Dyyno.
Back to topAt this time you may view only one Dyyno stream at a time.
Back to topF-secure Antivirus may cause this problem. As a temporary workaround we suggest:
STEP 1: Open F-Secure AntiVirus 2009 Virus & Spy Protection Real-Time Scanning [Please click on "Configure.."] Exclusions... Check box Exclude Objects Click on Add...
STEP 2: Please add DPPM.exe from the \Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Dyyno Receiver\ directory to the list of excluded objects.
Please note that Local settings is a hidden directory, so in order to make it visible goto "Tools Folder Options View" and select "Show hidden files and folders".Back to top
For best performance, please do not install anti-cheat software, like VAC or Punkbuster. You will not be able to broadcast applications if anti-cheat software is installed in your game.
Back to topIf you find that Dyyno controls are not working properly and/or applications are crashing, it's possible you may have several Dyyno executables running at the same time. To solve this issue, go to Task Manager (ctrl+alt+delete and select "Task Manager" ) --> Processes. Select the top "image" column to sort all your processes alphabetically. Then find and select the following processes below:
Dyyno.exe
Dgcsrv.exe
Dmspvenc.exe
Ddload32.exe
For each one, click the "end process" button. Once you have ended these processes, exit out of Task Manager and restart your Dyyno Broadcaster. Controls should be working properly, and your applications should no longer crash. Please email us at support@dyyno.com if you are still having problems.
